SELECT YOUR CAKE
CAKE BATTER: There are many different types of cake batter. I find the richest to be: (1) butter cake, (2) pound cake, (3) rich yellow cake, (4) supreme lemon cake, (5) almond cake, (6) red velvet, (7) carrot cake and (8) devils food cake.
CAKE FILLINGS: These are the ones I like to use: (1) almond mousse, (2) lemon curd, (3) buttercream flavored with your choice of flavoring and (4) chocolate ganache. Alternatives to the cakes and fillings above can be discussed.
FONDANT ICING VS. BUTTERCREAM ICING: Fondant is a confectionary sugar and egg white based topping. This can be flavored and color. It provides a very clean surface for decorating and holds up well in heat. Buttercream is a butter based icing. It can also be colored and flavored; however it is not as smooth as fondant but has a great flavor. Buttercream can be used as a filling as well.
DESIGN: We will design the cake according to your specifications; or you can choose a design by clicking on photos in the Gallery of Cakes. We will design for you whatever you desire. Before we begin your cake, we will provide you with a sketch of our design so you can see what your own creation will look like.
CUP CAKE CAKES
Kendra bakes a giant cup cake which is the size of an actual cake with approximately 16 slices per cake. This cake is very popular and festive and can be made in many different designs according to your needs. The price of this cake is $50.00. We need at least two days notice to complete this cake. We hand sculpt figures to make your cake unique and special.
TASTINGS
Kendra offers tasting samples of her cakes. Call for an appointment. Offered evenings, weekends and morning to suit your schedule.
ORDERING
Please consider ordering your cakes 3-5 months before your event.
PAYMENT
We require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit on all cakes. The balance due is to be paid one week prior to delivery. There are no refunds on cancellations within 5 business days. Due to the variety of the cakes and designs, it is too difficult to price your cake over the phone. The price of your cake will be determined at the initial meeting with Kendra.
DELIVERY
We deliver within 40 miles of Richmond, Va. The fee for delivery and set up for one hour is $40.00. Anything over one hour is $25.00.

We currently do not ship the cakes.
